Read This Overview Before You Purchase Razor MX650
Fantastic Bike
Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket is a superb motocross bike. I have 11 year old son, he loves this bike, and pretty much everyday he rides it.. The bike has a tremendous quantity of power. I weigh 190# and it carried me nicely on an initial test drive. My 11 year old son who has been riding electric bikes for numerous years does terrific on Razor MX650. He weighs 65 pounds and is 55" tall. The bike appears to be excellent for him according to his size and experience riding. Razor MX650 is interesting in that it's very potent but size wise is developed for children 9-12 years old.
The box says 16 and up, which is ridiculous. The MX650 appears well designed and has a nice suspension program and dual disk breaks. The cost is unbelievable for what you get but I would only recommend it for kids 9- 12 who've encounter riding other powered bikes. The tires are pneumatic nonetheless they're quite hard and knobby. They are fine for off road use but a slip out quick on slick pavement. Over all an awesome bike for experienced 9-12 year olds who have a non paved surface to ride on. We didn't expertise any problems mechanically or electrically.
Amazing Item, Properly Built, and Super Tough
My kids has rode Razor MX650 non stop considering that the day it arrived. I had to install the handle bars and front tire, I also checked over all nuts and bolts. This took 10 mins and then the battery had to charge (my kid was wanting to ride correct then), but when He did ride it, He loved it. I like the fact that there is certainly no noise along with the speed tops out at like 22 mph. Perfect for an 8 year old boy. All of his friends have now purchased them, 500's along with the 650 plus the 650 is alot more quickly than the 500.
Razor MX650 Dirt Rocket are tough and take a beating. My kid has dumped it like four times and absolutely nothing has broke but. My only complaint will be the decals. They commence to peel off from the 1st ride, but not that massive of a deal. I went out and purchased Suzuki stickers and now it looks like a factory ride. The disc brakes are Wonderful and quit on a dime. The tires are wearing down fast due to the fact the kids mostly ride on the sidewalks and street! I like the bike and am glad i bought a Razor MX650.
Greater than expected
I Gave the motorcycle to my 6 and 8 year old nephews. The brakes function good but grab the rotors when they shouldn't and so there was somewhat drag against the brakes that had to be worked out just before the bike would go properly. All in all a decent toy for the income. Nothing you would ever use for lengthy trips inside the dirt though, but is terrific to zip about paved roads. Seems to have plenty of power and runs for a long time on a suitable charge. I would say it can be worth the dollars with out question and I would purchace one more one. Dan in San Diego.
