Frequently Asked Questions...

i bought a set of sync gauges and?

im going to balance my own carbs on a 1985 honda v65 sabre what i would like to know is the adjusting screws on the carbs the ones you move to make the balance equal how many of those screws are there i could only find thre two up front and one towards the rear is there only three if so which one do move first and what number should be on my gauges

Answer:

There are 3 adjustment screws.
One is in between the 2 front carburetors.
Another is in between the 2 rear carburetors.
The third screw balances the front & rear bank of carburetors together.
You can identify that screw by it touching the linkage that operate the F & R sets of carbs.

It doesn't matter what the numbers are on your gauges, just get all 4 carbs equal.

Adjust the front 2 carbs to get the same number on your gauges.
Adjust the 2 rear carbs to get the same numbers on your gauges
Then adjust the front & rear sets of carbs to get the same numbers on your gauges.
