Would i have to rejet my 2003 polaris predator?
I have a 2003 polaris predator 500 with a pure polaris slip on pipe. I would like to get a stock pipe for it because i want to go trail riding and i think the pure polaris pipe may be too loud. Do you think my carb was rejetted for the slip on?
Also does anyone know if my predator would be illegal (as far as noise) in new york with the slip on? cuz if it isnt i wont change it.

Answer:
Your carburetor will not have to be rejetted. Yes it will be illegal. To trail ride your quad legally, it has to have a muffler with a spark arrestor and the muffler has to be quieter than 94db.
